Welcome to the official German presentation of automotive suppliers at the 40th Tokyo Motor Show - Passenger Cars & Motorcycles 2007.
Under the roof of the VDA pavilion in West Hall (W503), 13 exhibitors present a wide range of German state-of-the-art technology in the automotive sector.
The German automotive industry has extensive technological know-how, stemming from high R&D expenses - by far the highest ones of all industrial sectors in Germany. The supply industry makes an important contribution: Not only the big system and module suppliers have their own research and development staff, but also most of the small and medium sized companies. SMEs are the backbone of the German automotive capabilities.
So there is an essential contribution of the suppliers to the outstanding technological position of the German automobile industry. This refers to topics like security and comfort, but also - highly estimated - to the reduction of emissions. No wonder that our supplier companies are appreciated partners of automobile manufacturers worldwide.
You are invited to take advantage of the opportunity for a mutual exchange of information and experience, for establishing first contacts or intensifying already existing ones with the German exhibitors.
